The Trees:

Elms originated from central Asia but have established themselves over much of the Northern hemisphere and parts of the Southern.

Elms are larger, deciduous trees, generally tolerant of a variety of soils and conditions and are self pollinating.

 


Elm Wood

The Wood:

Elm wood is strong, tightly grained and hard, making it valuable for a variety of uses. It is a soft brown in color. It is excellent for use in steam bending and furniture construction due to its strength and durability.
