Artist Biography

Dan grew up on a cattle ranch in Montana, where he learned to work with his hands early on. For a number of years he made rustic furniture from tree branches and eventually worked his way around to using the middle of the tree.

There are a lot of artists in his family that have inspired him to make things. Dan also spent many years in theater lighting, but he prefers working with wood in his shop, or as he puts it, "seeking the bowl within".
