Artist Biography

Tom Deady has been an artist most of his life. He was a painter for many years and began woodworking in 1971. He has worked full time as a woodworker since 1975. He feels that his artistic background has given him the ability to design unique and interesting pieces of art. He loves to sculpt flowing lines that make his work stand out from other's work. He prefers to work with Koa and Mango because of the interesting grains in the wood. He uses a hand rubbed oil finish that makes the beauty of the wood stand out. Tom lived in Washington State most of his life but now lives in Sun City, AZ where he continues to do his woodworking.
