Frequently Asked Questions
How does this site work?
This is a juried gallery site for fine woodworking artists. Artists apply for membership in order to be able to show their work on this site. If accepted, the artists supply us with their information and images which are placed into their own gallery and then are added to the Artist Directory.
How do I become a member?
At this time we are not accepting any more members to the site, however we do have a waiting list in place for those interested. In order to be placed on the waiting lsit, you must go through our simple online application process. Click on application to get started. Should you be approved for membership, your name will be added to the list on a first come, first served basis.
What are the fees for membership?
More about membership fees and benefits can be found on our membership information page.
My membership was accepted. When will my items show in the directory?
Once we have all the materials from you, building your gallery pages can take one week to a month, depending on the complexity of materials submitted. Don't worry, your membership does not begin until your gallery is live and you are added to the Artist's directory. You don't pay for the building time.
I was rejected for membership. What can I do?
The number one reason artists are rejected is the quality of their photographs. Read the photography guidelines for more help. You can reapply for membership after 3 months with new materials. Applying for membership is free.
I am a member but have used all my updates. What do I do?
Please contact us with a description of the updates you want to do and we can arrange to either upgrade your membership or make updates at our hourly web design rate.
